The 10th Class Public Examinations concluded peacefully in Andhra Pradesh with students writing their last exam in Social Studies on Tuesday (April 1, 2025).

In a statement, Director of School Education V. Vijay Rama Raju said out of 6,24,742 students registered for the Social Studies examination across the State, 6,17,333 students appeared, while 7,409 were absent. The exam was conducted in 3,450 centres and 1371 centres were inspected by the flying squads, he informed.

Director of Government Examinations K.V. Srinivasulu Reddy thanked the Minister for Human Resource Development Nara Lokesh, Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand, Secretary, School Education Department Kona Sasidhar, Director of School Education Vijay Rama Raju and State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha B. Srinivasa Rao for their guidance.

He also lauded the role of the District Level Observers, District Educational Officers, Assistant Commissioners, Chief Superintendents, Departmental Officers, invigilators, flying and sitting squads, staff of line departments and police personnel for facilitating smooth conduct of the examinations.
