The Samaritan Charitable Trust, a Changanassery-based non-profit organisation, has constructed 34 homes for homeless families in central Travancore.

The official key handing over ceremony will take place at Changanassery on Saturday. Archbishop Thomas Tharayil will be the chief guest. Job Michael, MLA, trust chairman George Peedikayil and Leelamma George and others will attend.

The homes have been built for economically disadvantaged families across Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, and Alappuzha districts. Jefferson George, a joint replacement surgeon, and Robin George, a cancer surgeon, will be honoured at the function.
