The Feroke police on Monday (March 31) arrested a Tanur native for allegedly damaging the property of a private hospital at Kadalundi and manhandling the staff there.

Udaif, the accused, was later produced in court. The incident happened on Monday after a group of people took Ansil, another native of Tanur, who was injured in an accident, to the hospital.

The doctor on duty checked him and referred him elsewhere for expert treatment. However, the group with him reportedly refused to shift him from there and damaged properties at the casualty ward and attacked a cleaning staff.
