Students of Nellore-based school bag top prizes at NSS Space Settlement contest

Students from the Ithaka International School have excelled once again on the global stage. For the third consecutive year, the Nellore-based school won top positions in the Space Settlement Contest 2025, conducted by the American educational and scientific organisation National Space Society (NSS).

In the Grade 10 category, Mannuru Mahikshith Reddy won the World Second Prize for his outstanding project, Fulmen. In the Grade 8 category, Mohammad Ayman secured the World Third Prize for his innovative project, Nautilus. Competing against more than 29,000 students from over 30 countries, these students won the prizes for their exceptional projects.

Ithaka International School Chairman M. Subramanyam said: “These achievements reflect not only the brilliance of our students but also the unwavering dedication of our expert physics faculty members Seshagiri and Kamal Kishore, whose mentorship has been instrumental in guiding students toward excellence.”

He added: “The school takes immense pride in fostering innovation and holistic development and encourages students to think beyond boundaries and explore new frontiers with passion.”
