Director of IIT Tirupati K.N. Satyanarayana on Sunday emphasised the importance of innovation and ethics in education and career pursuits.
Addressing students of Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (SAHE), an institution Deemed to be University, on the occasion of the institution’s 48th anniversary and first University anniversary day, he lauded the university for its academic rigour and commitment to holistic education.
The university is celebrating its first annual day during the golden jubilee year of the Siddhartha Academy of General and Technical Education (SAGTE). SAGTE president M. Rajayya, secretary P. Lakshmana Rao, SAHE Vice-Chancellor P. Venkateswara Rao, Pro-Vice-Chancellor A.V. Ratna Prasad and registrar of Siddhartha University M. Ravichand felicitated Mr. Satyanaranaya.
Academic toppers from the institution were awarded gold medals in recognition of their academic performance and the event ended with a colourful cultural programme.
