Nine more trains to skip Secunderabad station, halt at Cherlapalli station

The Railway Board has further approved diversion of nine more trains without touching Secunderabad Station, to halt at Cherlapalli railway station.

The trains via Cherlapalli towards Kamareddi via Moula-Ali bypass route instead of Secunderabad: Train No. 20809 / 20810 Sambalpur – Nanded – Sambalpur Tri-weekly Express from April 25; Train No. 20811 / 20812 Visakhapatnam – H.S. Nanded – Visakhpatnam Tri-weekly Express from April 26. Train No. 18503 / 18504 Visakhapatnam – Sainagar Shirdi – Visakhapatnam Weekly Express from April 24; Train No 12787 / 12788 Narsapur – Nagarsol – Narsapur Express (five days in a week) from April 26 and Train No 17231 / 17232 Narsapur – Nagarsol – Narsapur bi-weekly express from March 28.

Trains which are diverted via Cherlapalli to Sanathnagar, Lingampalli via Ammuguda bypass route instead of Secunderabad – Begumpet stations are: Train No.17321 / 17322 Vasco-da-Gama-Jasididih- Vasco-da-Gama Weekly Express from May 12; Train No.17208 / 17207 Machilipatnam – Sainagar Shirdi – Machilipatnam weekly express from April 22; Train No.17206 / 17205 Kakinada Port – Sainagar Shirdi – Kakinada Port tri-weekly express from April 23.

Train No.18519 / 18520 Visakhapatnam-LTT Mumbai- Visakhapatnam daily express from April 24. The Moula Ali halt will be skipped here and there will be no change in timings at existing enroute stoppages, said a press release.
