The Prime Minister is the big brother to Chief Ministers of all States, said Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

Moving a motion thanking Governor Jishnu Dev Varma’s address in the Assembly on Saturday, Mr. Reddy said: “I say this on record, on the Floor, that Prime Minister is a big brother to Chief Ministers of any States. Decisions taken by the Prime Minister, Union Cabinet will be useful towards the development of States. When it comes to politics, he is a BJP leader and I am a Congress leader.”

The Chief Minister also responded to remarks over his frequent trips to Delhi. Mr. Reddy said that he went to Delhi 32 times in the past 15 months, met Prime Minister thrice and all Union Ministers for funds to Telangana. Mr. Reddy said that barring two times when he took chartered flight, he always traveled in commercial aircrafts along with others.

The Chief Minister listed the projects approved through his visits including airport in Warangal, approval to call for tenders for northern part of Regional Ring Road, Indian Institute of Handloom Technology.
