Assistant Professor, MBA, from Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology (ALIET) Vijay Kumar on Thursday urged students to recognise the transformative power of the digital era and said leaders should adapt and evolve from traditional methodologies.
Speaking at the valedictory session of a two-day national seminar on “Management Leadership in the Digital Age- Need for Adaptation,” organised by the Department of BBA in Andhra Loyola College (ALC), Mr. Vijay Kumar delved into the core characteristics of digital leadership, highlighting the essential competencies required for navigating the current day’s technologically driven environment.
At the inaugural session on Wednesday, T. Dharma Theja, assistant professor at Paari School of Business at SRM University-Andhra Pradesh said, “In order to navigate uncertainty and drive innovation, today’s leaders must develop the flexibility to pivot strategies, embrace change and empower their teams to thrive amid disruption.” He also spoke on modern leadership and emphasised the importance of risk management, adaptability, agility and innovation.
Specialist consultant, IPR and Business Strategy AMCONS, T. R. Ramesh, spoke about the combination of man and machine. He cautioned that upcoming jobs would need more cognitive and social skills, besides technical skills.
