Students from the Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Degree College, Patancheru, were taken on a visit to the Telangana Assembly to witness the Legislative proceedings on Monday (March 24, 2025).

The 2025-26 budget session of the State Legislature is currently underway at the Assembly where leaders from all political parties are discussing, debating various policies, issues concerning the people and the State. 

During the visit, the students gained insights into discussions, Legislative decision-making, and governance processes. They observed debates on key policies and learned about the roles and responsibilities of elected representatives in shaping the State’s development, as per a press release issued on Monday.

Secretary of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS), Alagu Varshini, encouraged the students to stay informed about Legislative affairs, emphasizing the importance of civic engagement.
