After a lull for a few days, day temperatures in Telangana exceeded 40°C in 25 districts. Due to unseasonal rains along with hailstorm in a few parts of the State and cloudy weather in some more in the previous week, maximum temperatures dropped to less than 40°C.

In Hyderabad, the temperatures reached 39.7°C. Maximum and minimum temperatures in the city over the next 24 hours are likely to be around 39°C and 25°C respectively, according to India Meteorological Department’s press release issued on Friday (March 28, 2025) afternoon.
