Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu encouraged the people to join the movement to protect the planet earth by doing everything that is possible for them, on the occasion of the Earth Hour that coincided with the World Water Day on Saturday (March 22.)

He stated in a message on X that the Earth Hour unites millions across the globe for 60 minutes to celebrate and support the planet.

The Earth Hour’s coincidence with the World Water Day is a ‘meaningful overlap’ that highlights two essential pillars of life –energy and water conservation.

Recognising their importance, the Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) included water security and fuel cost optimisation in the guiding principles of Swarna Andhra @ 2047.

The GoAP is doing its part to ensure a sustainable tomorrow but these efforts should be matched by collective action from every individual, he observed, asserting that small actions would lead to big change.
