Brenda Song’s makeup routine is significantly different (in a good way!) from her 2003 glam.
Song, 37, broke down her beauty steps via Merit Beauty’s TikTok on Monday, April 7, and even she couldn’t help but notice how much she’s changed through the years.
“Don’t tell 2003 me because she only liked to wear a smokey eye, a red lip, a block brow and a full face of contour,” she quipped. “I’m slightly more subtle now.”
Song credited her makeup artist on her former Disney show, The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. “She really taught me to pick one focal point of my makeup and stick with that.”
Song first reached for Merit’s The Minimalist concealer stick in Palomino, which she applied to her undereyes and cheeks. She then went in with the label’s Bronze Balm in Sein, which she used to warm up her cheeks and forehead.

“Looking back on the Disney days, it was just so much fun,” she said as she blended the product into her skin. “London Tipton was my absolutely dream character. I loved stepping into her shoes every single day. She had my dream closet,” Song explained of her Suite Life character. “More was more.”

She then reached for Merit’s Flush Balm in Cheeky and patted the pink pigment into her cheeks.
As she filled in her brows with the Brow 1990 in Brown-Black, Song reminisced on tweezing her hairs for the Suite Life into thin lines to help her appear like a trendy teenager. “It traumatized me,” she said. “When the trend came in the mid-2000s to micro-blade your brows, I did that.”
She also added “depth” to her eyes with the Solo Shadow in Midcentury before elongating her lashes with the brand’s mascara. Song tied her look together with Merit’s Signature Lip Liner in Coupé.
“And that’s the look. Yay me!” Song said before concluding the video, referencing London’s signature catchphrase.
