Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy led official delegation will visit Japan from April 16 to 22.
As part of the visit, he will inaugurate the ‘Telangana Pavilion’ at the Osaka World Expo 2025.
Aiming to attract significant investments, the CM delegation will meet heads of leading company managements, industrialists, and several Japanese representatives.
In scheduled meetings with prospective investors, the official team led by the Chief Minister will highlight investment prospects in Telangana and outline the industrial and technical cooperation offered by the State to Japanese companies looking to set up manufacturing units.
The Chief Minister and officials will leave for Japan from Bangalore airport on Tuesday night, and land in Tokyo on Wednesday.
As part of the tour, the delegation is scheduled to meet the Indian Ambassador on the day of arrival.
The next day, on April 17, the team will meet representatives of the Sony Group, Japan International Cooperation Agency, JETRO, Japan Bio Industry Association, and various other organisations.
In the evening, they will visit to Toshiba factory.
On April 18, the team will call on the Governor of Tokyo and attend a meeting of industry representatives under the auspices of the Indian Embassy.
Separate meetings with CEOs of companies such as Toyota, Toshiba, Aisin, NTT, and others are also planned.
A meeting with representatives of Japan Overseas Infrastructure Investment Corporation for Transport and Urban Development will be conducted before the team leaves for Sumida Riverfront.
On April 19, the delegation will leave for Osaka, and is scheduled to visit to Mount Fuji and Arakurayama Park.
On April 20, the delegation will travel to Kitakyushu City, where they will meet Mayor of Kitakyushu, discuss the Eco Town project, and visit the Murasaki River Museum and the Environment Museum & Eco Town Centre.
On April 21, the panel will be in Osaka for the opening of the Telangana Pavilion at the World Expo in Yumeshima, a Business Roundtable Meeting, and a visit to the Osaka Riverfront.
On April 22, the delegation will travel from Osaka to Hiroshima, paying their respects at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial – with floral tributes to Gandhi’s statue, meeting the Vice Governor and Chairman of the Hiroshima Assembly, and engaging in a business lunch with the Hiroshima Japan-India Chapter. They will also visit the Hiroshima Institute of Technology and the Mazda Motors factory before departing from Kansai International Airport in Osaka.
The delegation is expected to reach Hyderabad on the morning of April 23.
