CSR initiative: ECIL distributes 20 e-scooters, 12 agricultural drones in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Electronics Corporation of India (ECIL-Hyderabad) handed over 20 e-scooters to Anganwadi supervisors and 12 agricultural drones to farmers in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.

According to official sources, the initiative is aimed at providing sustainable mobility to Anganwadi field staff and help farmers leverage drone technology to enhance productivity.

ECIL chairman and managing director Anurag Kumar formally handed over the e-scooters and drones to the beneficiaries in the presence of Collector Rahul Sharma at the Collectorate in Bhupalpally on Wednesday.

ECIL has sanctioned a sum of ₹4 crore, under the CSR initiative, to provide the e-scooters, agricultural drones and also augment facilities at the District Headquarters Hospital in Bhupalpally.
