Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Developers founder chairman Narne Ranga Rao’s family handed a cheque worth ₹1,00,01,016 to Chief Minster N. Chandarababu Naidu on Sunday.

In a post on X, Mr. Naidu said that Ranga Rao’s family members handed over the cheque to him in Hyderabad. The donation was given in memory of Narne Ranga Rao to ‘Anna Canteen.’ Dr. Shantharao, wife of Narne Ranga Rao, mentioned that when the coalition government restarted the Anna Canteen, Nara Bhuvaneswari donated ₹1 crore, which inspired her. A day before his passing, Narne Ranga Rao reminded Dr. Shantharao about donating ₹1 crore. After his death, Dr. Shantharao, along with her daughter, Narne Estates Director Adusumilli Deepa, and White Field Bio MD Adusumilli Naresh Kumar, handed over the donation to the State government with the support of CEO Narne Gokul.

“Such generosity supports the idea of providing food to the poor for just ₹5. Even a day before his passing, Narne Ranga Rao’s reminder to his wife about donating to Anna Canteen reflects his greatness. Remembering his contributions to the real estate sector, I extend my thanks and congratulations to his family for this donation,” Mr. Naidu said in the post.
