Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar has stressed the importance of early detection of eye-related ailments, as any delay in it can lead to severe problems.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to healthcare, Dr. Chandra Sekhar said that under Ayushman Bharat, patients would have an insurance cover of up to ₹5 lakh, while the NTR Vaidya Seva scheme offered support of up to ₹25 lakh. “Additionally, the CM Relief Fund covers up to 97% of medical expenses in Andhra Pradesh,” he added.
