Faculty development programme at Farook College from June 16

A week-long national-level faculty development programme on ‘e-Content Development and Outcome-Based Education’ will begin at Farook College, Kozhikode, on Monday (June 16, 2025).

A release on Sunday (June 15, 2025) said the programme is being organised in collaboration with the UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (UGC-MMTTC) and SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi. Over 50 teachers from across Kerala will attend the residential, face-to-face programme, which focuses on modern teaching tools, content development, AI integration, and classroom strategies tailored for ‘Gen Z’ learners.

A.K. Bakhshi, founding Vice-Chancellor of PDM University, Haryana, will deliver the keynote address. Vimal Rarh, Director of UGC-MMTTC and Professor of Chemistry at SGTB Khalsa College; Gurmohinder Singh, Principal of SGTB Khalsa College; and K.A. Aysha Swapna, Principal of Farook College, will attend the inaugural event.
