The officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence on Wednesday caught a woman from Ghana at the Kempegowda International Airport and 3.1 kg of cocaine worth around ₹38 crore was recovered from her.

The accused was arrested soon after she landed at the airport from Doha, based on her profile and travel history.

She was subjected to frisking and the drugs were concealed in her body, officials said. The woman is suspected to be working as a mule for the international drug smuggling racket and was supposed to hand over the consignment to her handler waiting outside the airport, they added.
