The Basaveshwara Nagar police on Wednesday arrested former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant, Rajath Kishan for violating his bail conditions.
The accused Kishan and his associate Vinay Gowda were arrested previously for uploading an Instagram reel brandishing a machete publicly and also misleading the police while surrendering the weapon used for the offence. The duo was arrested and later released on conditional bail.
Meanwhile, the duo violated the bail condition and failed to appear before the court, which resulted in a non-bailable warrant (NBW) being issued against them.
The police executed the warrant on Wednesday, arrested Kishan, and produced him before a magistrate. He was later remanded to 14 days’ judicial custody, while the second accused, Vinay Gowda, appeared before the court and was let off with a ₹500 fine.
