The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) hosted the Tamil Nadu Higher Education Summit 2025, which focused on the transformative role of AI in reshaping higher education and lifelong learning.

The summit also explored strategies for creating a future-ready workforce through an industry-aligned university learning ecosystem. In the valedictory session, Minister for Higher Education Govi. Chezhiaan highlighted that the State was at the forefront of higher education in India.

G.S.K.Velu, Chairman of FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council said, “The world is evolving fast and our education system should evolve faster. Today, it’s not enough to prepare our students for the jobs of the future. We must prepare them for jobs that don’t even exist today by giving them the ability to think, adapt, innovate and lead.”
