Law varsity launches LLD research degree course

The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University has introduced a higher research LLD degree course, said Vice-Chancellor Colonel N.S. Santhosh Kumar. The course is offered in both full-time and part-time modes. 

For the part-time candidates, the PhD course work will be for five years. More details are available on the university’s website: www.tndalu.ac.in.  

Law Minister and the university’s Pro-Chancellor S. Regupathy, who launched the programme, said the university set as an example for other institutions in the country. Lauding the university for offering courses in a variety of law-related subjects, he said that such courses would have a positive influence on society at a time when the impact of artificial intelligence poses a challenge for the legal profession.  

Senior officials of the university participated in the event.
