A 45-year-old man allegedly murdered his wife and two children before hanging himself in their apartment at Gabre Layout, near Old Jewargi Road, in Kalaburagi on April 2 night.
The deceased are Santosh Koralli, his wife Shruti (35), and their sons Manish (9) and Anish, who was three months old.
Santosh was a Senior Assistant Accountant in the Gescom office. The couple were married for 10 years. They had severed ties with their parents and relatives for the last seven years.
Preliminary enquiries with neighbours suggested that the couple would fight frequently. The police found a note in the premises. “However, the exact reason for their death can only be ascertained only after an investigation,” said Police Commissioner Sharanappa S. Dhage.
A case has been registered at Station Bazar police station.
