National Defence College team in A.P. for study tour

As part of a study tour programme, a team of officers from the National Defence College, New Delhi, is visiting Andhra Pradesh. The team, led by Major General C.P. Sangra (Rtd.), includes senior defence service officers of the tri-services (Army, Navy and Air Force), officers under training at the National Defence Academy, DRDO and other departments. They met with Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand at his camp office in Vijayawada on Friday.

During the interaction, they enquired about the welfare programmes being implemented in the State under the State and the Central governments.

Mr. Vijayanand briefed them of the initiatives implemented under Swarnandhra 2047 Vision Plan. He also shared the recently launched State government’s WhatsApp governance, which provides hassle-free services on various schemes to people in the State.

Principal Secretary, General Administration, Mukesh Kumar Meena, along with others was also present during the briefing.
