NLCIL observers Public Sector Day

NLC India Limited (NLCIL) observed the 16th Public Sector Day in Neyveli on Thursday.

According to a press release, NLCIL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Prasanna Kumar Motupalli hoisted the PSU and NLCIL flags in the presence of Directors Suresh Chandra Soman (Mines), Samir Swarup (Human Resources), M. Venkatachalam (Power) and senior officials.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Motupalli said that from a mere five PSUs in the first five-year plan with an investment outlay of ₹29 crore, the number has now grown manifold to over 400 PSUs across the country.

NLCIL had also excelled on all parameters in the fiscal 2024-25, he added.
