JAMMU: Continuing a crackdown against people evading arrest, Ramban police on Tuesday arrested a man booked in a Tada case and evading arrest for 33 years.
As per police, a team from Banihal police station conducted raids and arrested the suspect, Abdual Rashid Shah, a resident of Karwa Banihal.
“The accused person has a general warrant of arrest from the court of 3rd additional sessions judge of Jammu under Section 512 of CrPC. Our team produced Shah before a court for further legal proceedings,” a police officer said.
