Elon Musk Dons ‘Cheesehead’ Hat for Wisconsin rally
On Sunday, Elon Musk took the stage at a Green Bay rally for Republican Brad Schimel, sporting a “cheesehead” hat—a nod to Wisconsinites and Green Bay Packers fans alike.
At the rally, Elon Musk awarded $1 million each to two Wisconsin voters who signed an online petition opposing “activist” judges. He’s also incentivizing signatures with $100 offers, following an earlier $1 million donation to a Green Bay resident who signed. Musk and his allied groups have poured over $20 million into the race, while Democratic heavyweights, including George Soros, are supporting Crawford. The election, set to conclude on Tuesday, April 2, will determine the court’s ideological tilt, where liberals currently hold a 4-3 edge—though a retirement this year has put that majority up for grabs.
