The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPICMACAY) began its summer camp at Garden Valley English Medium Higher Secondary School, Kuttippala, near Tirur in Malappuram.

The five-day camp will offer training to participants in yoga, clay modelling, mural painting, and a few other art forms. The participants will display their skills acquired from the camp in front of their parents at the valedictory function.

SPICMACAY coordinator Unni Varier inaugurated the camp. School academic director Yusuf Thaikadan presided over the function. Vice principal A.P. Leenu welcomed the gathering. K.P. Indira, head of the high school section, is the camp director.
