Sri Ramanavami was celebrated in the city with devotional fervour on Sunday. There was a steady queue of devotees who made a beeline to various temples dedicated to Lord Rama and offered prayers.
Sri Rama Mandira in Jayanagar, Vidyaranayapuram, New Kantharaja Urs Road, Maruti Temple in Gangotri layout, etc., were decorated with flowers, and special prayers were conducted from dawn.
Apart from temple visitations, devotees were treated to butter milk and panaka, as part of the local customs. Such scenes were visible at different parts of the city and across the district.
