The Enforcement Directorate conducted searches at several locations in Hyderabad, including Secunderabad, Jubilee Hills, and Bowenpally, on Wednesday (April 16, 2025).
The raids are part of a money laundering probe involving the Surana Group and Sai Surya Developers. Officials are searching properties linked to both groups separately across the twin cities.
Sai Surya Developers has previously faced legal action in connection with delayed real estate ventures. Its owner, Satish Chandra Gupta, was earlier booked by Madhura Nagar police of Hyderabad in 2024 in fraud cases related to the Green Meadows project and was transferred to the Central Crime Station (CCS) for further probe.
