Taylor Frankie Paul isn’t afraid to celebrate herself on Father’s Day.
“From yours truly, baby mama,” Taylor, 31, captioned an Instagram video featuring the reality TV star purposefully cutting out her ex Dakota Mortensen out of various pictures as she created a collage of herself for Father’s Day.
One of the photos featured Taylor in a string bikini with her arms wrapped around her ex. The video shows her methodically cutting Dakota out of the picture before she adds the photo to a series of other photographs featuring The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star.
“I wanted to make baby daddy something special for Father’s Day this year,” she wrote over the video, which was also set to The All-American Rejects’ song “Gives You Hell.”
Taylor and Dakota, 32, were dating at the start of season 1 of the hit Hulu reality series, but called it quits by the time production started on season 2. Now, the two are trying to coparent their 12-month old son, Ever. (Taylor also shares daughter Indy, 7, and son Ocean, 4, with her ex-husband, Tate Paul.)

“We’ve obviously come a long way to navigate [coparenting],” Taylor exclusively shared with Us Weekly in a May cover story. “It’s different from my first husband because there’s obviously a friendship there. We adjusted. Whereas [with] Dakota, everything’s fresh. It’s something that we necessarily didn’t want to do but needed to separate.”
The reality TV star went on to clarify that while she is no longer in a romantic relationship with Dakota, things have improved between the pair.
“So it’s an adjustment and we’ve had to learn through the obstacles of this experience to do what’s best for our son,” she explained at the time. “Of course when things are heightened, you’re breaking up and it’s not something you wanted and you just had a baby. It was not the prettiest experience, but currently we’ve come a long way.”

Part of their post-relationship “experience” has included rumors that Dakota is expecting another child with a different woman — rumors he and Taylor have tried to put to rest.
“No babies on the way,” Dakota wrote via TikTok on May 29. “I am not having a kid with anybody. I haven’t slept with anyone since I have dated Taylor until now. If anybody wants to try to prove that wrong, by all means be my guest.”
He continued, “I just wanted to clear the air because there’s a few girls out here that said they are even pregnant with my child. Lots of crazy stuff but anyways, no baby coming.”
On the same day, Taylor also shut down the baby speculation, writing via TikTok, “A girl claiming to be having his baby as I’m putting myself in timeout for actually being his bm [baby mama]. I think it’s a joke, I sure hope so.”
