Telangana Government on Saturday (March 15, 2025) has announced launch of ‘Rajiv Yuva Vikasam’ scheme with an aim to provide self-employment opportunities through financial assistance to Backward Classes (BC) youth for improving their financial status.
“Accordingly, government approved the action plan for the benefit of BC unemployed youth of Telangana State,” as per a press release issued by the VC and managing director of TG BC Cooperative Finance Corporation Ltd.
Interested and eligible candidates belonging to Backward Class communities were urged to register their applications online in OBMMS portal https://tgobmmsnew.cgg.gov.in.
“The eligibility criteria, scheme & other details are available on https;//tgobmms.cgg.gov.in,” as per the press release. However, the details were not available on the homepage when checked on Saturday night. It was also mentioned in the press release that the registrations will be open from March 17, 2025 to April 05, 2025 in the OBMMS portal.
In case of queries, the District BC Welfare Officer/Ex Officio ED BC Corporation may be contacted. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday (March 11, 2025) said that ₹3 lakhs each would be provided to the youth to take up self-employment.
