
Telangana’s plans to boost tourism sector would be presented by Minister Jupally Krishna Rao at 20th South Asia Hotel Investment Conference & Workshop, being held at Powai Lake, Mumbai, from Tuesday to Thursday (April 8 to 10).

Telangana’s focus on eco-tourism, temple tourism, and medical tourism and investment opportunities would be presented to key stakeholders in the hospitality industry. The State Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao would engage with them on Thursday (April 10, 2025) at the 20th South Asia Hotel Investment Conference & Workshop, being held at Powai Lake, Mumbai, from Tuesday to Thursday (April 8 to 10).

The Minister would also present details of the newly formulated Telangana Tourism Policy and would assure investors of “attractive incentives, streamlined procedures, and the full support of the government for tourism-related ventures”.
He noted that the State government aims to attract investments worth ₹15,000 crore in the tourism sector, which is expected to create employment and livelihood opportunities for over three lakh people.
