The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a gradual dip in temperatures across Telangana over the next four days, with a drop of 2°C to 4°C expected. In a bulletin issued on Monday (March 31, 2025), the IMD also placed several districts under a yellow alert for Tuesday (April 1, 2025) warning of adverse weather conditions.
According to the bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are likely to occur at isolated places in multiple districts, including Nizamabad, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Jagtial, and Rajanna Sircilla.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad and its surrounding areas are expected to experience generally cloudy skies over the next 48 hours. Hazy conditions are likely to prevail during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city are projected to be around 36°C and 23°C, respectively, the IMD stated in its bulletin.
