The Dark Knight and LEGO are the sort of odd couple pairing that shouldn’t work on paper, but are brilliant in practice. The moodiness and psychological torment of the source material, and the blocky medium through which it’s translated, creates a humorous juxtapostion. The Joker, terrifying though he is, looks adorable as a LEGO Minifigure.

LEGO Batman sets tend to cycle very quickly, from the time that they’re launched to the time they’re retired. The designers have a near endless well of Batman media to draw from – from comic books, to TV shows, to Hollywood blockbusters.

One of their most recent designs, inspired by the 1966 classic television show starring Adam West, is an 1822-piece homage to the show’s Batmobile.

LEGO recently retired the bulk of its Batman sets, including the Batcave Shadow Box, at the end of 2024. Here are the best LEGO Batman sets that you can buy in 2025.
