The Hyderabad District Election Office has registered three cases against non-local MLAs and MLCs for allegedly entering the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency on polling day, Tuesday (November 11, 2025), in violation of the Model Code of Conduct.

The District Election Office informed that two cases were registered against leaders from the Indian National Congress. The first case, filed at Madhuranagar Police Station, names Ramachandra Naik and Beerla Ilaiah, from the Congress. Another case was booked at Borabanda Police Station against Shankar Naik and Matta Dayanand, also from the Congress. A third case was filed at the same police station against Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar and Methuku Anand.

According to officials, the cases were filed after the individuals, who were reportedly involved in campaigning activities, entered the constituency despite restrictions imposed under election guidelines. The District Election Office said that while public representatives are permitted to campaign before the end of the official deadline, they are not allowed to be present in the constituency during polling unless they are registered voters there.
