In a recognition of its commitment to quality governance and administration, the Thrissur district panchayat has been awarded the ISO certification for total quality management.
The achievement follows nearly a year-long effort under the guidance of the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA), during which the district panchayat formulated and implemented a comprehensive quality policy and measurable objectives. This structured and consistent push toward excellence has now earned the panchayat this global recognition.
At an official ceremony chaired by district panchayat president V.S. Prince, District Collector Arjun Pandian formally announced the ISO accreditation and handed over the certificate to district panchayat secretary J. Mohammed Shafi.
