NEW DELHI: YouTuber and content creator Ranveer Allahbadia has resumed his podcast ‘The Ranveer Show‘ after facing public backlash over his involvement in the controversial ‘India’s Got Latent‘ show.
In a video titled “Let’s Talk” released on March 30, he reflected on his hiatus, addressed the controversy, and promised more responsible content creation moving forward.
Allahbadia expressed gratitude to his supporters who stood by him during the challenging period.
“Namaste friends, first of all, I would like to say thank you to all the supporters and all the well-wishers. Your positive messages helped me and my family a lot because this phase was very difficult,” he said.
The content creator discussed how the forced break from his regular schedule provided an opportunity for personal growth.
“I have released two to three videos every week for the last 10 years without taking a break. I got a forced break. Learned to live with patience,” he shared.
He revealed that meditation, sadhana, and prayer helped restore his mental well-being during the break.
“In the next 10, 20, 30 years, as long as I create content, I will create content with more responsibility. This is my promise to you,” he stated.
Allahbadia concluded his message with a plea for support.
“After this full stop, I am trying to write a new story. I hope that you, all of us, my whole team, support me in this new phase,” he said, adding, “In this TRS restarting phase, all the people who have supported us so far, I have only one request. If possible, please make space for me in your heart. Give me one more chance.”
The controversy stemmed from the ‘India’s Got Latent’ show, which drew criticism for its explicit and inappropriate content.
On March 7, Allahbadia appeared before the Crime Branch of the Guwahati Police Commissionerate as part of an investigation into the show.

The Guwahati Police filed an FIR on February 10 against several influencers, including Allahbadia, charging them under the Indian Penal Code, Information Technology Act, and Cinematograph Act for promoting obscenity and indecent representation of women.
In a previous apology video, Allahbadia acknowledged his mistake during the show.
“My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry,” he stated.
The Supreme Court has now granted Allahbadia permission to resume his podcast, with guidelines ensuring future content adheres to standards of decency and morality.
