ULBs in Telangana collect ₹1,010 crore property tax

The Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA) has announced that the 147 municipal corporations and municipalities in Telangana have collected a property tax of ₹1,010 crore for the financial year 2024-25, ending on March 31st. This is ₹178 crore more than what was collected in 2023-24. Since the municipal staff will be working during weekend and also on Monday, citizens have been urged to pay their property taxes and also take advantage of 90% rebate being offered on penalty on pending payments. The tax bills can be paid online as well, said a press release on Saturday (March 29).
