Vizianagaram student chants ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ in 55 seconds

A postgraduate student Jaya Pawan Kalyan of Vizianagaram has set a ‘‘world record’‘ by chanting ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ in 55 seconds and his fete was recognised by International Book of Records.

Earlier, a student of Bihar completed the chanting in 59 seconds. Mr. Kalyan, son of Tatababu, a junior assistant in the municipal corporation, was able to complete chanting of around 2,000 words of ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ in 55 seconds, thanks to his constant practice to achieve the record.

Mr. Tatababu said that his son was an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman and used to chant ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ regularly from his childhood days.
