Vizianagaram Zilla Parishad chairperson and Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) district president Majji Srinivasa Rao on Sunday (March 8, 2025) asked all the leaders and activists of the party to participate in ‘Yuvatha Poru’ agitation to be held on March 12, 2025, near Collector’s office while alleging that the government had cheated all the students by not releasing fee reimbursement amount. Along with party leaders, he released ‘Yuvatha Poru’ poster in Vizianagaram.

Addressing a media conference on the occasion, he alleged that the government had not made Budgetary allocation for fee reimbursement and the super-six assurances. “The then Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy government had brought reforms in education sector and ensured construction of 17 medical college. But this government wanted to privatise all those medical colleges and ignored the higher education needs of students of poor families,” said Mr. Srinivasa Rao.
